Think about this
Animal farm board puzzle
Take out all the pieces from the board puzzle, and then give the children ideas on how to use their money they have set beside each of the farm animal board pieces.
Experience of the day
Today I'm doing childcare services for a two year old little girl whose name is Rylei, who loves to count money and find fun ways to play with her coins. I always do this with much care. I don't want her to put the coins into her mouth. Her parents always let her carry money in her pocket. I thought as long as she is allowed to do this I would teach her other great ideas about how money is used.
Memo about the puzzle
The farm board puzzle brand must be,' On The Farm.' This is what's on top of the puzzle board. The animals on this board are:
Ducks, Goats and Kids, Sheep and Lamb, Roaster, Horse, Cow and calf, Pig and Piglets, and a Dog
These are all animals that can help them understand about the care and responsibility that all farm animals need. The farm board puzzle even has a tractor on the board. Caregivers, parents, family members, and friends can talk about how the tractor needs gas to help work the farm. Help build their imagination by placing a few coins on top or under the puzzle piece that will give them the thought of the animals and farm equipment being properly taken care of.
.
Sacrificing = better care
Teach them if they put some extra money in the bank, they can give their farm animals better tasting foods that will help them grow stronger. Children learn by example, even at an early age. Talk to children about little sacrifices and watch how they respond. It may just surprise you. Rylei is 2 and she acts on everything thing I say. If I talk about saving money for a piglet that is sick, then, she will usually put a few coins in a certain jar for the sick piglet. She learns something new every time I share something interesting with her. The next day she'll prove she did learn something. She'll go to the farm, drive her play car to the pretend bank, and then feed her pretend farm animals. She'll have proved that having fun and learning at the same time does work perfectly.
Value of a toy car, chores, animals, bank, and a farm
Teach them about how their toy car needs gas. Give them light chores to do. Then give them a few coins to put in their piggy bank. Teach them to go to the pretend bank that is across the room. Later, tell them to go get the money they have saved, and drive to the store to buy food for their animals on their farm, and feed their animals on their farm board puzzle.
Remember children can learn many things, if someone will teach them.
