meeker
For technique #1, you will need:

Brown Mulberry paper

New toothbrush

Tear Bear Pattern

Brown Scrapbook chalk

Black Cardstock

Glue stick and/or glue dots

White and black acid free pen

Oval punch (I like Fiskars Hand Punch 5/16" Oval.)

Paw Print Punch (I like the one made by Paper Shapers. You can also use a heart shaped punch for they eyes and nose.)

Trace the pattern on to the back of the mulberry paper for your tear bear. Tear each piece out of the mulberry paper. Using your new toothbrush, brush over the top of the mulberry bear pieces, this will make the pieces fuzzy. Using your oval punch, punch out two ovals for the eyes from the black cardstock. Using your paw print punch, punch out a paw print. The largest piece of the paw print will be used for the bear's nose. Chalk the edges of all your bear pieces. Glue all your pieces together using the glue stick or glue dots. Use the white pen to draw eyeballs on the two black ovals for the eyes. Then use the black pen to draw the mouth, eyelashes, and whiskers.

Trace the pattern on to the back of the mulberry paper for your tear bear. Dip a q-tip in water and dab around the traced lines on the mulberry paper. Tear each piece out of the mulberry paper.
