How to Make Thin Eyelashes Appear Thick and Full

Patients and others are raging about the new eyelash grower, lengthening and strengthening product Latisse. However, with the number of side effects displayed, some suffering with thin to no eye lashes may be better off steering clear of this new wonder product, accept the fact that you have short eye lashes or use safer less invasive ways to make your eyelashes look thicker. There are safe and very successful ways to enhance the look of your eyes making them appear fuller and sexier.

Women down through the ages have desired long thick eyelashes. The fact is not all women grow long lashes. However, when nature is not as generous and does not provide you with naturally long, thick eyelashes use these methods to make your eyelashes appear longer and thicker.

Mascara

Mascara has always been one of the most popular way women have increased their eyelashes to make them appear thicker and longer. By sliding a brush across the hairs, your eyelashes can grow from thin to long, luscious and thick making your eyes those that men want to peer deep into. Using black, brown and even blue mascara has been the way stars have made themselves appear more glamorous than ever. The secret to beautiful eyes has long been adding a bit of mascara to the upper and lower lashes.

Eye Liner

Some women have problems using mascara. For medical reasons, allergies or simply the fact some women cannot take adding the liquid or powder to their eyelashes. For those women who cannot use mascara for whatever reasons, eyeliner has been a great substitute. Adding a fine, thin line of eyeliner to the eyelid just above and below the eye can increase the dimensions in addition to widening and adding depth and detail.

Petroleum Jelly

Petroleum jelly such as Vaseline is one of those wonder products which has been used for centuries for various reasons. By applying a little Vaseline to the eyelashes then brushing on mascara or even baby powder, you can increase the thickness of your eyelashes instantly. Vaseline is not harmful to the eyes and it can also be used to prevent allergens from entering the eyes causing irritation and redness.

Natural is always the best way to go when working to enhance your features. However, if you have no problem using serums such as Latisse, you might be pleasingly surprised with the results.

I've always had thick eyelashes, and people have told me a lot of women would get jealous. Fluttered them to good effect yesterday at an important meeting...

Good old mascara has always done the trick for me, and eyeliner is a must when performing onstage. Offstage, I always go completely natural, with no makeup at all.
