How Thinking and Attitude Affect Energy

Use Your Mind to Fuel Energy for Life

Wendy Dawn
How you think has a direct effect on the way you feel. If you live with the mindset that you are sick and tired all of the time, you will very likely be sick and tired much of the time. Your body will respond physically to the cues created in your mind to vitalize you or drain your energy.

Recognize the mind - body - energy connection.

In order to access your mental resources and energy you must first recognize and accept the connection between your mind and body. Improving your attitude and affirming your faith invigorate your mind and can, therefore, help increase your energy. In fact, unless you believe this point and live it with conviction you will never be able to do more than dredge up a little enthusiasm for living.

Once you embrace the reality that the way you think affects the way you live you will at once begin a journey toward a life well lived, because much of what we experience begins in the mind.

Free your mental and physical energy by removing roadblocks.

In order to free yourself to live vivaciously, you must cast from your mind conflict, fear, and resentment. It will take time to work these things out of your mind, but harboring conflict, fear, and resentment creates mental roadblocks that hinder your way toward successful living.

Live what you believe for a life that is congruous and energetic.

Allow yourself to stand firmly on the convictions by which you live, without fear and you will find that you can more easily let go of conflicting emotions, attitudes, and beliefs. Embrace what you believe, understanding that your thought life impacts your own reality and you will be able to let go of resentments held toward others, realizing that they are responsible for their own lives just as you are responsible for yours.

You will still suffer pain and difficulty in this life, but if you live by your beliefs and remain strong in your mind and faith you will find that life's difficulties become training ground that enable you to access the deepest, best parts of your being.
