How to Get Through a Firewall/parent Control on the Internet
For this trick we'll be using the Command Prompt. To get the CP, go to start > run, and enter cmd. Or, go to start > all programs > accessories > Command Prompt.
From here we have a basic MS DOS screen. You can do a lot of the stuff you do every day on the computer here, but it's a pain. The good thing is that it can do some stuff that can't otherwise be done.
Let's say your parental control/ firewall blocks you from Google. Once you have your command prompt open, type in ping google.com . You should come up with some MS DOS Jargon, but you need the recurring set of numbers, 64.233.187.99
Simply enter those exact numbers, nothing else (except the periods) and it will break through any firewall or parental control and bring you to the site. Enjoy this neat trick!

Post a CommentOk peeps, you can use https://somesite.com if they haven't blocked it. Vista or 7 type cmd in the search bar. Other OS's look in accesories. They will still block proxies sometimes. You have to go out of the box if these don't work. Oh, by the way, you enter the IP(numbers) in the URL(where you would type www.facebook.com).
Use https they usauly dont block it
Just try typing s after http its that easy
Most schools/firewall filters now have found ways to get past this particular trick, by having it block the IP addres in the first place. There is no sure-fire way I've found yet to get past the filters.
