For the invites, you will need some crayons or markers, brown construction paper, and scissors. Cut out big dog bone shapes. Have the kids put the where when and how old your dog is.
For decorations you can go as small as construction paper cut outs for wall decorations. You could get as extreme as streamers and balloons, (which I suggest if you have left overs from past parties)
Have the kids make birthday cards. Have them think about the things your dog likes to do and what they think their dog would like.
Don't forget presents. You could have them make tug toys out of socks. Stuff a few socks inside of a big sock and tie a knot in the big sock.
They could make coupons good for one free walk or a brushing or the sort.
How about letting them make some biscuits or "cookies" for the dog?
