1. You can start by sketching out your winter baby shower theme. Decide which room of your house you will use for the party and how you will arrange it. In my case I have found that the living room works best. Of course if you have a den area that can be used this is also a good location as well. Once you have decided on which room you want to have the party, you can then decide on how many people to invite. You want everyone to be able to sit comfortable and still mingle with one another. Since each home is different the way you arrange it will be unique to your party area. It may be a good idea to set up your baby shower so that food can be served up buffet style. This way everyone can feed themselves when they are ready. You should also set up a separate dessert table as well.

2. Find decorations that includes baby colors with plenty of white. Since the theme is winter than you will need to make sure that there is plenty of white in the room. The pink, blue or yellow colors should be used as accents around the room. Try purchasing or making some Styrofoam snowman. These are very simple to make, and you can purchase them pretty cheap in the store before winter season. To save money you will find it is easier to make. The snow man should be about knee high and placed in several different areas around the house. You can put a pink, blue, or yellow scarf and baby hat on each snowmen to combine the winter and baby theme.
