How to See Martha Stewart, Rachael Ray, Tyra Banks, Regis and Kelly and Barbara Walters in Person
Live with Regis and Kelly
The show tapes Monday through Friday at 9 am at its studio at 7 Lincoln Square in New York. To get tickets to Live with Regis and Kelly, you can submit a request by mail or online at http://bventertainment.go.com/tv/buenavista/regisandkelly/get_tickets.html.
To submit your request by mail, send a letter or postcard with your name, address, phone number, email address, the dates requested (along with back-up dates) and the number of tickets to the following address:
"Live with Regis and Kelly" Tickets
Ansonia Station
P.O. Box 230-777
New York, NY 10023-0777
It is advised to submit your request at least 6-8 weeks in advance with multiple back-up dates in case your first choice cannot be accommodated. Tickets are mailed approximately 1-3 weeks before the taping date. If you don't plan that far in advance, you can try the standby line. Standbys should go to the studio at the corner of West 67th Street and Columbus Avenue as early as 7 am on the day of the taping for a standby number. After ticket holders are seated, standbys will be admitted entrance on a first come, first serve basis.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 10 are not allowed in the audience.
The View
"The View" tapes live Monday - Thursday from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. For Friday shows, there is an additional taping during the week. The show tapes at 320 W. 66th Street, and ticket holders should be there by 9:30. Ticket holders and standby tickets are admitted on a first come, first serve basis.
To request tickets, you have to fill out the ticket request form online at here. For some reason, there are two different forms for those who live in NY and neighboring states and those who live everywhere else. Click on the appropriate form for where you live. Unlike Regis and Kelly, you can only apply for one date as opposed to apply for back-up dates. Tickets will be mailed approximately 3 weeks before the show date.
For standby tickets, you have to go to the studio between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM on the day of taping to pick up a standby number from a View Audience Associate. Again, standby ticket holders are admitted only after all regular ticket holders have been admitted.
Audience members must be at least 16 years old.
The Tyra Banks Show
The Tyra Banks Show tapes at Chelsea Studios twice a day Tuesday - Thursday. People arriving for the first show should arrive by 9:30 am, and the show ends taping around 3:00 pm. For the second show, you should arrive by 1:00 pm and can expect to be there until 7:00 pm. The show tapes between August through early December and January - April.
Up to 4 tickets may be requested for any one show date. To request tickets, go to this website here and click on the date that you would like to attend. If you have been granted tickets, you should receive confirmation within two weeks.
Audience members must be at least 18 years old. They do request that you not wear certain clothes since audience members may also show up in the taping, and the better dressed you are, the better your chance of being on TV.
The Rachael Ray Show
The Rachael Ray Show tapes at 222 E. 44th St, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, Tuesday - Thursday, at 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm. To get tickets, you have to fill out a ticket request form here with your name and contact information as well as the names of up to 3 guests. If you are selected to receive tickets, the show will contact you with the available dates and times. Audience members must be at least 16 years old and must dress in proper attire. For dress guidelines, please see the information on the website above for more information.
If you do not get tickets through the above method, standby tickets may also be an option. You must get a standby voucher on the day of taping, starting at 10:15 am for the first taping and 2:15 pm for the second taping. Standby vouchers are not a guarantee of admission. If the show operates like other similar shows, people with standby vouchers will start to be admitted once all audience members with tickets have gotten into the studio and are basically on a first come, first serve basis.
The Martha Stewart Show
The Martha Stewart Show tapes at Chelsea Television Studios at 221 W. 26th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues. The show generally tapes 3-4 weekdays with shows beginning at 10 am and/or 2 pm. For the most up-to-date information, go to the website.
To request tickets, fill out the online form here. You may request up to 4 tickets at once. If you are selected to receive tickets, you will receive an email confirmation approximately 3½ weeks before show date. If you are making the request within 3½ weeks, then you will receive the confirmation at any time.
To receive standby tickets, you should arrive at the studios approximately 2 hours before showtime.
Audience members must be at least 10 years old, and minors must be accompanied by an adult. Audience members should arrive at least an hour and a half before showtime.
