How to Get Tickets to Non-BCS College Bowl Games

Onemargaret
I've selected my choices of the hottest non-BCS College Bowl Games for 2008 and 2009. These games are so hot that you must act now and secure your seat before tickets are sold out. Thus, I've compiled some very helpful information to get you started and on your way.

Meineke Car Care Bowl

December 27, 2008 at 1 p.m., on ESPN

Charlotte, North Carolina

North Carolina Tar heels vs. West Virginia Mountaineers

With eight wins, including one against arch rival, Duke University, the North Carolina Tar heels is my overall favorite to win, since I currently work and live in the state of North Carolina. This Atlantic Coast Conference or ACC team is definitely one to be reckoned with. In a head-to-head battle with the West Virginia Mountaineers, also eight-time winners, this non-BCS bowl promises to be well-worth the watch. This non-BCS College Bowl game will be held at the Bank of America Stadium.

At TicketsNow, you can purchase tickets ranging from $59.00 (for UNC Side) to $509.00 (for Gordon Club Suite with VIP parking pass in Lot #1). TicketsNow is a Ticketmaster company, which sells tickets for music, theater, and sports events. If you apply and are accepted for Blue from American Express, you will receive a $100.00 savings card, which can be applied to your ticket purchase at TicketsNow.

Papajohns.com Bowl

December 29, 2008 at 3 p.m., on ESPN

Birmingham, Alabama

Rutgers Scarlet Knights vs. North Carolina State Wolfpack

The Big East Conference or BEC Rutgers Scarlet Knights are winners of seven games. With a 38-0 win against Morgan State and a 30-3 win against the Army, they may be a team to watch. Again, I can't pass up another ACC North Carolina team like the North Carolina State Wolfpacks, with six wins. This non-BCS College Bowl game will be held at the Legion Field. At TicketsNow, you can purchase tickets ranging from $80.00 (for U1-12) to $188.00 (for Club Seats).

Outback Bowl

January 1, 2009 at 11 a.m., on ESPN

Tampa, Florida

Iowa Hawkeyes vs. South Carolina Gamecocks

The Big Ten Conference or BTC team, Iowa Hawkeyes, has an impressive eight wins, including a 42-0 win against Florida International and a 55-0 win against Minnesota. Playing against South Carolina Gamecocks on New Year's Day is a great game plan, especially after a night of New Year's Eve partying. This non-BCS College Bowl game will be held at the Raymond James Stadium.

At TicketsNow, you can purchase tickets ranging from $26.00 (for Inclusive tailgate) to $2943.00 (for Suite, which is for 10 people). For Florida residents, all tickets for sale at www.TicketsNow.com are included as part of a transportation package. Gator Bowl

January 1, 2009 at 1 p.m., on CBS

Jacksonville, Florida

Clemson Tigers vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers

My final hot choice is another ACC team, Clemson Tigers with seven wins, including a 54-0 win against South Carolina State. Also, on New Year's Day, they get to battle it out with the Nebraska Cornhuskers with their eight winnings. This non-BCS College Bowl game will be held at the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.

At TicketsNow, you can purchase tickets ranging from $6.00 (for Official Gator Bowl 09 Patch) to $9363.00 (for Luxury Suite, which is at the 20 yard line for 20 Person Luxury Suite w/parking).
