Acne generally occurs during teenage years but also attacks adults too. They form over different areas of the skin and the ones that form on the back are also referred to as bacne. Remember the tight and figure hugging synthetic clothes you wear regularly. These do not permit perspiration to dry away naturally and this perspiration in combination with the natural oil formation on the skin block up the skin pores thus denying your skin the opportunity to breathe. These tight clothes also trap bacteria that help aggravate the inflammation. While acne on the face can be cured easily, it is tougher to clear bacne, which is acne formation on the back of your body.
The first step is avoiding wearing these synthetic and tight fitting clothes and pamper your body with some loose fitting clothes. True, they might not show off your sexy figure, but would you rather show off your figure full of these red inflammations or have a body that is covered but free from these painful growths? There are many products available in the market that can help you to remove these growths, but it is recommended that you first consult a dermatologist before going in for one.
You should also remember that the adult skin is harsher and tougher than those of teenagers and needs additional treatment in order to cure. Remember to bathe using lukewarm water. This will enlarge the pores of the skin, facilitating the removal of the dead skin cells that are the prime cause of adult back acne. Use medications that contain salicylic acid and also use bathing lotions that contain this chemical. Salicylic acid helps to cure and remove bacne (back acne).
One not so well known method of treatment that is slowly gaining popularity is the use of tea tree oil soaps and lotions. This product of a native Australian plant is both antibacterial and antiinflammatory, leading to it treating both sides of the acne problem. Far more products these days contain this very beneficial ingredient.
Whatever treatment you choose, the key to success is persistence. The worst thing you can do for your skin is keep on changing treatments, as your skin will never get used to them and just get more and more agitated.
