This wedding centerpiece is so easy to make and so easy on the wedding budget that you will simply be in awe. Not only will you be in awe by those things, you will be in awe by its simple beauty as well. It's so simple, yet so beautiful and elegant. It's also a nice change from the normal flower arrangements usually used for weddings. Follow these steps to design your own wedding tulle centerpiece.

ITEMS NEEDED: You will only need three simple items to get you started on this easy and beautiful wedding tulle centerpiece to use for your wedding reception tables or wedding alter. You will need a tall, pedestal style, glass cake dish. It should be a dish with sides, not just a flat cake stand. You will also need white ribbon that is about ½ inch to an inch wide. And lastly, you will need white tulle.

DESIGN YOUR TULLE CENTERPIECE: The first step to designing and making your tulle centerpiece is to find out how big you need to cut your pieces of tulle. You should cut them into squares that are twice the height of the depth of the cake dish. For instance, if your cake dish is 5 inches tall then your tulle should be cut into 10 x 10 inch squares. Once you have all of your pieces of tulle cut, then you will need to roll them into somewhat loose rolls. Be careful not to roll them too tightly or too loosely. You can use a small piece of tape on the center of your rolls of tulle to hold them into the roll.

Next, you will need to cut about 6 or 7 long pieces of ribbon. You may need to measure for this, because you want to tie these pieces of ribbon into bows around 6 or 7 rolls of tulle, BUT you want the ends of the bows to hang down long enough to touch the table from the top of the cake dish. Do not be worried about over estimating on the length that each ribbon should be cut, you can always trim the ends once you have the bows in place. So over compensate a little if needed.

Finally, you will tie your ribbon around your 6 or 7 rolls of tulle, then save those rolls to be placed in the cake dish last. Start placing all of your other rolls of tulle into the cake dish, make sure that they stand straight up and down. You may need anywhere from 25 to 45 rolls of tulle for this depending on the size of your cake dish.

Once you have enough rolls of tulle snuggly placed into the cake dish, then you can place the rolls with the bows around the outside edge. Place them evenly spaced apart all the way around the outside of the cake dish, making sure that the bows are facing out. Trim up any ribbon that is too long and you're finished.
