The Ultima Weapon keyblade, which has been the best weapon for Sora in the other Kingdom Hearts, makes yet another entry in Recoded. However, unlike in previous versions where you could get Ultima Weapon late in the game, The Ultima Weapon in Recoded is recovered much later.
To start, you have to beat the main game. When the last official boss is defeated, there will be a screen saying that the world labeled Hollow Bastion is open. This world has also been featured in past Kingdom Hearts, and always carries a special significance.
Travel to Hollow Bastion and then participate in the dungeon area. Just like with the previous dungeons, you will accumulate points, called "Special Points," by defeating monsters, using combos and dodging attacks.
Each level of the Hollow Bastion dungeon has a special requirement, such as using an item or defeating the enemies in a specific way. When you start the level, a window will pop up to tell you of the special requirement. While there is some leeway, if you conform to the requirement 100% you will get extra points.
Defeat the dungeon, and you will get a score report. Keep going through the dungeon, as the points add up each time, until you get 1,500,000 points. These points are used to buy special items.
Talk with the Mog and trade in your Special Points for the Ultima Weapon keyblade. You now have the strongest weapon in the game.
