How to Be an Ultimate Guitar Hero

Leanne Bloms
Guitar Hero is just one of the latest and greatest crazes to hit video game platforms. It is a great opportunity for people of all kind to get together and play video games together and have a lot of fun. Also, it is a great way for families to get together and have a lot of fun. While this game is highly addicting, it's popularity has people challenging others to be the Ultimate Guitar Hero.

My first experience with Guitar Hero was standing in line at a local video game store for a midnight release of the newest edition of Guitar Hero. I had played it a couple of times, but never knew how addicting it could be. The store where I was waiting in line with was having an actual competition with a previous edition of the game. I could not believe some of the skill the people had!

I was really jealous and I decided I wanted to have some of the skills that they had. I wanted to be the Ultimate Guitar Hero. If you have some of the same feelings that I do, you too can work yourself to the title of The Ultimate Guitar Hero. Here's How:

Practice, practice, and then practice some more. Not only do you have to play the songs over and over, but you will need to enter the actual practice mode so you can break down some of the sections of the song to master them. It may seem a little tedious, but it something you want to do to be an expert.

Challenge your friends. Before you get a little excited and start calling yourself The Ultimate Guitar Hero, see how well you rate compared to some of your other friends. See if you can impress your friends. It is going to take some time before you can beat everyone, so if you are not successful the first time, keep returning to the first step and practice some more.

Find local Guitar Hero competitions. Video game stores and even some schools hold Guitar Hero competitions. If you think you are good enough to compete against the big timers, here is your chance. Be sure you understand the rules of the competition and spend some quality time practicing beforehand.

You too can be an Ultimate Guitar Hero, but it is going to take a lot of time and practice. In the meantime, buy yourself a new guitar to lift your spirits in style!
