How to Understand the Knight of Pentacles Tarot Card

How to Read the Knight of Coins in the Tarot

Carole Anne Somerville
The Knight of Pentacles rides a black horse, holding his symbol before him and he has an oak plume in his helmet. He is a reliable and practical young man with a no-beating-about-the-bush attitude.

At the same time, he is adventurous and shows an eagerness for new ventures although these will usually be carefully thought through.

Reading the Knight of Pentacles

Now the person has been described, who might he represent in the life of the person for whom this card has been dealt?

This card is associated with a possible stranger who is coming into their life. There may be some romantic links here, or perhaps an emotional or telepathic bond. And yet there is something secretive in the air.

This is, nonetheless, a reliable card, so the male person who is indicated by the Knight of Pentacles will be a man who can be relied on. He is someone who is honest, loyal and trustworthy.

Predictions in the Knight of Pentacles

The Knight of Pentacles could represent a young man in the querent's life, or who is about to enter their life. He may be a little shy and he has a cautious rather than impetuous nature. He is someone who may need their help or support in the future. This card can also suggest that they might be hearing something exciting about money but this shouldn't be too dramatic unless other cards tell them different!

In their social relationships, this card suggests there's something going on in the background. The querent may know all about it, or they may be suspicious about someone or something.

This is nothing awful, it must be added. In fact it could even be to their advantage. But what is apparent, is that only a small selected few are in on this secret. And they can be trusted too, to keep things quiet.

Another thing suggested when the Knight of Pentacles appears in a spread is possible unemployment. Or a commission that was expected may not come through.

But this could be a blessing in disguise. Because the person described as being represented by the Knight of Pentacles may also have something to do with getting them back onto the employment ladder. Perhaps through his suggestions or ideas. Or maybe he has friends in high places. This person will have an organised personality and will be dedicated to duty.

I've caught up on the newest articles, and just sending PV love for the older articles I missed due to an online job I had to take care of.
