How to Update Your Daily Page View Statistics

Han Van Meegerin
Associated Content and the evolution of providing daily page view data

Apparently, at one time Associated Content did not pay for page views. It is my understanding that once a page view payment system was put in place, Contributors were not able to see their daily page view statistics. At some point Associated Content put into a place a means for Contributors to view their daily page views. I guess I am spoiled, because being relatively new as a Contributor; this feature has always been available to me. Since, I have been a Contributor for Associated Content; the company has been expanding the amount of page view and content view information that is available to Contributors on a daily basis.

As with any technological or other type of system glitches things don't always function optimally. When this occurs on Associated Content, people have different courses of actions to take. They can complain and some do. They can post information in the forum and some do. However, not everyone visits the forum on a regular basis.

What follows is what I do when my Associated Content Profile does not update my daily page views. Though I can't take credit for making this general discovery, I have tinkered with it with so that it works for me. To the best of my recollection this strategy has worked flawlessly for me. When I have mentioned this strategy to other Contributors, they report high rate of success when they utilize it.

What to do when your daily page views are not updated on your Associated Content Profile Page

Step 1: Connect to the Associated Content Home Page via your favorites in your web browser or manually type www.associatedcontent.com in your web browser's address bar.

Step 2: Enter your email that is on record with Associated Content.

Step 3: Enter your password that is on record with Associated Content.

Step 4: Click on the log in tab.

Step 5: Once you are signed in to Associated Content Account, look towards the top of the screen.

Step 6: With your mouse, place your pointer where it says, "Welcome and then your name."

Step 7: Left click with your mouse.

Step 8: Left click your mouse where it says, "update" next to your profile.

Step 9: Make a minor edit to your profile. I usually edit one digit in my phone number or in my zip code.

Step 10: Scroll up or down until you see the tab to save your profile.

Step 11: Left click the save profile tab.

Step 12: With your mouse, place your pointer on where it says, "Welcome and then your name". Hopefully, the Est. Page Views will have updated.

Step 13: With your mouse left click where it says, "close" or the "x."

Confirm that the changes have occurred on your Daily Est. Daily Page View Report.

Step 1: Again look towards the top of the screen

Step 2: With your mouse, place your pointer on where it says, "Account"

Step 3: Left click with your mouse

Step 4: Scroll down until you are under the heading of "Performance Payments (Beta)"

Step 5: With your mouse left click where in blue lettering it says in blue lettering, "Daily Est. Daily Page View Report"

Step 6: Scroll down to the most recent date and hope the 0's have been replaced with the updated page view and content view statistics.
