When you search for a computer related question on Google or Yahoo, one of the first results is often a site called Experts Exchange. What you'll quickly find out is Experts Exchange is a paid forum, meaning you must join in order to see the answer to the posted question. You must also join in order to post questions. The great news is, there is a way around paying just to view answers.

Why would you consider paying to join a forum in the first place? Every top answer is approved by an expert, with many of the answers coming the experts themselves. This means the answers have 99% chance or so of working when performed correctly. If you have questions regularly and want full, easy access to the forums, a membership may be worth it. If not, read on.

Is Bypassing Membership Legal

There are absolutely no hacks required in order to access content for free on Experts Exchange. In fact, Experts Exchange has made it possible for anyone patient enough to view the full answers to any posted questions. Most visitors just never make it past the big block of text stating you must join in order to view the answer.

Since no hacking or illegal activity is required, bypassing membership is completely legal. You will be smarter, get your problem solved and stay completely on the up and up.

The Magic Trick

The first magic trick to viewing Experts Exchange answers is to simply scroll down. Don't get discouraged over the ads to join. Keep scrolling down to little past midway on the page and you'll start seeing answers. The one labeled as "Best Answer" or "Top Answer" is usually your best bet, but if your problem isn't exactly what the original question asked, trying other answers may be a good idea as well.

If you want to search for questions, use the search box on Experts Exchange and click any applicable result. Follow the steps from above and viola, you have your answers.

Another Option

If you don't feel like scrolling forever, you do have one more option. Every time a search engine finds a website, including forums like those at Experts Exchange, each unique page is cached or stored. Experts Exchange doesn't see a search engine as a potential member, meaning no ads for membership. When a result pops up in your search engine, instead of visiting the main page, press the Cached link under the result.

The exact location of the link varies based on the search engine you use. The link isn't easy to find on Bing, though. Hover your mouse on the far right side of a search result until an arrow appears. Let the the extra information appear and press Cached page at the bottom of the info screen.

Don't get fooled into paying for a membership you don't need. Take full advantage of the answers Experts Exchange has to offer without paying a dime.
