How to Wash Your Lace-Front Wig

When purchasing a lace-front or full-lace wig, it hardly comes with instructions on how to take good care of it. A lace front and full lace wig can last in good condition for up to a year, maybe more if you take really good care of it. The better the quality the hair is the better luck you will have in maintaining it. Of course you have to treat it as if it was your own, this means shampooing it with the right shampoo and conditioner. It is recommended to wash it at least once a week or monthly depending on how often you wear it, to maintain the look and feel as if you have just purchased it.

There are two ways you can wash it, you can either have the lace wig still attached to your head and wash it that way or wait until you remove it to treat it. Once hair is completely dried, use a wide tooth comb to gently comb through the hair and apply your hair moisturizer of choice to keep your hair looking shiny.
