Sundays is most peoples day off. During NFL season many families will watch and route for their favorite teams. You can make this a family time and enjoyable for everyone. If your family enjoys football or not you can still make it a fun time. In this article I offer some tips to enjoy this time together.

Direct TV

Cable TV will not do you need Direct TV with NFL Sunday Ticket. This way you can watch any NFL game your hearty desires without the worry of black outs. Direct TV is actually cheaper than cable and for a few dollars more you can get NFL Sunday Ticket so you can enjoy all the games. This is crucial so that any important game you will not miss.

Snacks

You have till 1pm and in some cases later if your watching a later game to get your football snacks. You can make a grocery store run before game time and make sure you get the snacks that everyone will enjoy. Make sure to get snacks for the kids. If your having extra friends or family make sure to buy extras. During the early months of the season the weather is still nice you can invite friends and have a barbecue.

Invite Friends and family

If your wife and kids don't really care for football you can invite friends and family. That way your wife and kids can have some social time while the men are watching the game. If your wife is not into football she will enjoy the fact she will have friends to socialize with. The same goes for the kids. You can save these moments for the really big important games.

Separate TV's

Your wife and kids may not be into football but they would appreciate the snacks and a separate TV so they can watch what they want. Make sure the other TV's have VCR or DVD's connected to them so they can watch movies if they want. You can also rent movies for the wife and kids to watch and enjoy.

Wife's day off from cooking

During football season allow the wife a day off from cooking big meals. After all, you get a day off to watch football its only fair that she get one to do what she wants to do. Allow her time to go shopping or whatever she wants to do. She will enjoy it a lot more knowing she won't have to cook when she gets home.

Sunday just doesn't have to be just for you but the whole family can enjoy the day and do what they want to do. So make it a relaxing day for your whole family.
