How to Make Waterless Hand Sanitizer

Amy Stepp
In today's economy we are trying every way we can to save a couple extra dollars. Making your own items at home with supplies you already have is a great way to do so. With the rise of worries of the Swine Flu (H1N1) and even the everyday normal colds and viruses, making your own hand sanitizer at home will definitely be beneficial to you. Here is how you do it:

Ingredients:
1 cup of Aloe Vera
1 Teaspoon of Rubbing Alcohol
2 Teaspoons of Vegetable Glycerin
10 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, or Peppermint Essential Oil.

Directions:
1. Start with the Aloe Vera in a medium mixing bowl.
2. Add the other ingredients one by one.
3. Mix well until blended enough where it runs medium speed off your spoon.
4. Place in a desired container, preferable one with a pump.
5. Use just the same way you would store bought hand sanitizer, or how kids call it these days, magic soap!
