How to Win, "brutal" Enemy's in Red Alert 3, as the Empire

Playing Red Alert 3? Wondering how you can ever beat the godlike AI that is the "brutal" difficulty setting? Well if you are The Empire of The Rising Sun (Japanese) it is relatively easy. I'll tell you how. My strategy works best on the water dominated maps because it takes advantage of the Japanese Shogun Battleship. It can still be used on the other maps though, as your mighty battle ships ply those narrow canals almost as easily as the high seas. Beware, your enemy will swarm, rush and generally be as fiendish as any human player. Not only that but each load of their ore is worth more than yours and their units cost less. Notice how you can only control units as fast as you can click and point them, not so for the enemy. They see the entire battle field and have perfect unit control. Omniscient. Godlike. Get ready.

1. Build an instant generator, plant it right next to your MCV.

2. While the first IG is moving and deploying build three more IGs and plant, even better if you can put them in
the water.

3. Your first IG comes online and you can now create Refinery's,build and deploy one as quickly as possible.

4. While the Refinery is deploying create more Refinery cores and move them to any ore locations nearby.

5. The Refinery comes online and you can create Imperial Docks and the Nanotech Mainframe. Create two Docks cores and deploy, also create a Mainframe core and deploy in the water.

6. As the Docks cores come online upgrade to the next tech tiers.

7. While Docks upgrade, create and deploy an Instant Dojo and some base Defender-VXs. Recruit engineers from the Dojo to capture nearby structures then upgrade Dojo to next tech tier. As an alternative to establishing land dominance you can abandon the land at this stage by moving your MCV to the water. Your battleships will soon take the land back.

8. Your Docks have upgraded to the first tech tier, now upgrade one of the Docks to the next level. From the other create Sea-Wing craft, set them on aggressive and leave submerged.

9. Your other Docks has finished upgrading, immediately set it to creating Shogun Battleships.

10. From the Top Secret Protocols select the fleet upgrade, your ships will turn a nice red color and be a lot stronger. The next Top Secret Protocol you should choose is the rocket upgrade. Meanwhile if you chose to continue on land upgrade your Dojo once more and start recruiting those darling Rocket Angels. You will have almost certainly been engaged by the enemy at this stage.

11. With at least three Battleships and ten Sea-Wings move toward your enemy's base. Have your Docks continue to churn out units, moving some of the new units to those far flung ore sites to keep the money coming in.

12. Your Battleships pound the enemy shore from long range and you Sea-Wings keep guard against hordes of Soviet Twin blades or Allied Bombers. Your victory is assured. But there are a few more things your enemy's may use against you.

13. Hero agents such as Natasha, Tanya or your own Yuriko Omega (if you are facing another faction of Japanese) will devastate you fleet if you let them. When you see their deaths heads appear on your radar, lift a couple of those Sea-Wings up into the skys and use them to cut these bad bad women down to size.

14. Aircraft Carriers, their Blackout Missiles will fry your fleet where they um...float, then the enemy will close in for the kill. But not for long as your fleet comes back online and takes these pests out. If you have any rocket angels now would be a good time to deploy them to the field/sea.

15. The Kirov Airship poses a mild threat to bunched up fleets with little anti-air support, but with some deft clicking you should be able to out maneuver them. Now a salvo of Blackout Missiles would keep your fleet still
while the Kirov's finished them, but that would require an alliance between the Soviets and the Allies.

16. The final threat facing you would be the enemy's super weapons, whether the Proton Collider, Vacuum Imploder or your own Psionic Decimator, bring your fleet up next to them and pound them into silence before the countdown finishes. Also build your own Decimator and a few Protocols like Final Squadron to punish them for their impudence.

This strategy will work against multiple "brutal" enemy's, even when you ally them together you will probably still get fifty percent wins. The Shogun Battleship/Sea-Wing combo is so powerful that it may seem to unbalance the game. The other sides however have some combos which are just as deadly, when used correctly. Now I have a date with Natasha so I will see you on the battlefield.
