The only thing you will need in order to do this is a copy of Windows Vista as this already has Mahjong Titans installed. Once installed, you are ready to learn how to play Mahjong Titans. Of course, this also means that you will want to know what it takes to win at Mahjong Titans too.
Right click on the free tiles and take a good look at the board so that you can find all of the matches. Determine where you will do the most good if you remove tiles.
Many of the layouts in Mahjong Titans have stacked pieces. To win at Mahjong Titans with layouts like the "turtle" you will need to work from the top down. This will allow you to free the tiles that are hidden underneath. On the other hand, with spread layouts, such as the spider, you will need to work from the top down and the outside in. You may need to reload the game a few times in order to be able to remove the top tile with your first move.
To get more points in Mahjong Titans you need to match the special tiles such as dragons, flowers, seasons and winds. You can match a flower tile with any other flower tile. This is also true with season tiles.
Whenever you get stuck while playing Mahjong Titans, click the "game" menu, then "hint" or simply right click. Two tiles will flash, showing you a move that you can make. You won't lose points for using this option. However, you will still want to use this sparingly because you will not necessarily be shown the best option for winning Mahjong Titans.
Get as many matched pairs of the same type as possible in a row whenever playing Mahjong Titans. This will give you bonus points.
Always pay close attention to how many tiles are left. This can be seen at the bottom left of your screen. Whenever this number drops drastically, undo the last move and locate a different match. You always want this number to go up or only go down by one. If this number goes down to a single digit and there are still a lot of tiles left, you did something "wrong."
Regardless of what happens when you are playing Mahjong Titans, never use the "undo" button. This will cost you two points and thus hurt your score. The Mahjong Titans tiles are set up randomly, like they are in solitaire, but if you make the wrong move it can cost you the game. Whenever there are "no more moves left" this will be displayed on the screen.
