How Wise the Sparrow

Dale L Dupont

To eat a bit
And listen
To life,

The old lady
And the guy
With new bought food.

The falcon though

A top the pole
And watch
As time went by
Some other poor creature
Might die
Under it's sharp claws

Then I noticed
The sparrows
Safely eating
Under a bush.
Singing happily
Over breakfast.
