How to Write a 400-Word Article in Twenty Minutes

Pennya
Many content producers here on associated content have been putting out articles at record speeds. Since they are already well versed in what they are writing about they can pump out an article in twenty minutes to a half hour. By sticking to this "write what you know" method, they maximize the amount of articles they can write. Others like Associated top content producer RS have admitted that they try to write as if they are speaking. While this is an effective method, you can cut down on your writing time a few other ways.

First, you should try to keep the quality of your article in line and try not to worry about the word count. You can always check the word count when you are done with a paragraph to see how you are progressing. If you cannot fact check yourself, you probably should not be writing factual articles. Articles are worthless if they are not accurate, and you may find out more to write in your article.

Secondly, you should always try to word things in a simple and direct manner to cut out confusion. For example if you are writing an article on "How to Sharpen a Pencil", you can go systematically recreating every single way you could sharpen a pencil. These articles are "Fluffed", meaning that something that might take up just under a hundred words might now finally meet the 400-word minimum. If you are going to do this, you should make sure that every attempt to extend the word count is relevant to the subject matter.

Then of course, you have to factor in your own typing speed. There are many ways to increase your words per minute; the most popular is to take typing lessons. There are a few websites that offer free courses, but your speed will increase the more that you type. The down side to these programs is that it will take time to finish them, when you could be earning money for what you are typing. Personally, I have found that instant messaging is a great way to train your fingers to move faster. You can also try to picture the words you are going to type in your head as you are thinking about what you are going to write next.

To accomplish the goal of writing an entire article in twenty minutes will take some practice. If you can stay focused, know your material a head of time you will be sure to succeed!

  • Always check your facts to keep the quality of your article intact.
  • If you cannot reach the minumum word count you can always add in any steps that you originally skipped.
  • Try to type faster by taking lessons online or instant messaging your friends.

You made my day. I'm overwhelmed by not knowing much about social media, etc., but I take for granted that I already type extremely fast. That skill didn't develop overnight! Thank you!
