How to Write Articles Which Yield Millions of Page Views

Stephen Joltin
There are several ways to write articles which yield thousands or millions of page views. One is to find a hot topic and create a unique approach to entice large numbers of people to search on and find your article.

For gamers and online cultists, cheat codes and unique strategy articles can yield millions of reads on one article in a short time. One Content Producers I have seen has done this first with a popular Web Game and pass time. Think of what you would love to see which has not been exploited yet and quickly take advantage of it.

This is very much like infomercials you see on TV with products you just know are going to be ultra popular. For example, "How To Hear Clearly Without Costly Hearing Aids". The gadget looked like a standard blue tooth device which people use for cell phones. I looked this up after I saw it on TV, read an article about it, found it in Bed, Bath and Beyond and bought one. It didn't work the way I had hoped but the article must have been read by thousands of people.

A timely article about this might have yielded many page views to the first one who wrote a product review, especially with a searchable title.

Another way to increase your page views is to do what other successful CPs have done in the past. This is serial niche writing. Here are two examples: 1) One Content Producer wrote dozens of articles about the Renaissance Fairs for each state. Up to 80% was boiler plate so they must have been spewed out quickly. Just the greetings, date/times and costs where different. Think of how many people look for information on their local Renaissance Fairs. 2) Another CP did one article for each State's DUI penalties. That could bring in hundreds of thousands if not millions of page views per year.

A focus on this type of article sets can yield lucrative results. At least it will if the heading is well selected and rich with keyword densities in search engines. I think this is the way to go to maximize your page view yields. I consider these people professional writers.

I have only written articles about things which interest me. I don't consider myself a professional writer since I write few articles and only on topics which are of interest to me. I could probably triple my page reads by using the technique of finding articles which will be highly searched for like Renaissance Fairs and DUI penalties and writing the heck out of them.

Maybe I will change my own strategy to serial niche oriented articles. I could sure use the extra money, even though I may enjoy the process less.

This is just my opinion based on my observations and I hope it helps you find strategy to accrue millions of page views.

Great observations and I believe they work. I too hate to write about things that don't interest me or I would do a lot better I am sure.

The series idea is a good one. It's just coming up with one. I've reread this one several times and pick up ideas each time. Thanks.

ps I think all writers write because they love writing. When you discover getting paid to write, it really gets exciting and if you branch out a bit, you surprise yourself. In a good way. And, yes, many famous writers and artists did not get famous while living...but, hey, they did not have the internet! hehe. We are so lucky!!

Thanks for help in increasing page views! :-) Doing calls for content articles has helped my views. The more that you write on AC, the better the page views get. 1000 articles = 100 dollars a month in page views alone. 2000=200 dollars a month and so on. You can write for page views and for content payment. All add up. I enjoyed your article.

Good tips. But I mainly write stories, real-life experiences, and poetry. Maybe tips on maximizing page views for those like me. :)

I wanted to reread this one. You have good suggestions that are good to follow. I had been thinking about it for awhile. Will probably take another look later on.

Thanks for the helpful hints; especially on Renn.Fair since I sell knitted goods there any way.
