How to Write Creative Blog Posts

Belle Story
Article writing is much easier than blogging. You write one page about a particular topic and once its finished, you find something else to write about. Blogging is not so simple. Blogging entails writing about the same subject every single day for practically 365 days a year! You can see how one might easily run out of ideas or get bored. What can you do to stay excited about blogging? How can you motivate yourself to get as excited about writing that blog post as you are about your birthday?

Here are some suggestions! If you're blog is in a creative rut, try some of these ideas to inspire yourself again!

1. Brainstorm. Set aside the time you usually spend blogging on a given day, and come up with new ideas instead! Write down unique titles for future blog posts. Search the Internet for ideas if you're lacking inspiration. Compile a list of ideas you can refer to when you're in a blogging slump.

2. Invite a fellow blogger to post. Is your blog related to small businesses and how to start one? Interview an entrepreneur who has found success as a new small business owner or invite him to write a post about what led to his success. Whatever your blog niche is, there is always an expert in that field! The person you invite to post can even be another amateur; readers will still enjoy the fresh perspective and voice. A guest blogger offers something of value to your readers and keeps things fresh and exciting. Not to mention the fact it gives you a chance to get your creative juices flowing again.

3. Review products. Have you found a product related to your blog niche will you absolutely love and want to tell everyone about? Instead of writing the typical blog post, write a product review. Keep your readers up to date with the newest products and services which will make their lives easier.

4. Find a problem. Who goes looking for problems?? Bloggers who need something to blog about! Blogs often get feedback from readers. Use this feedback to your advantage; do your readers continually mention a common issue? Find a solution to it! One of the most common things people search for on the Internet is answers. If you have the answer someone is looking for, they will not forget you or your blog. In counseling, psychologists often bring up a client's past to make clients aware of problems they need to change. Blogging is no different! Bring a common challenge to your readers attention and inform them how they can solve it!
