When writing the ad make sure to list some of the features and benefits of the item. This will make your item more attractive and inviting. Make sure you focus on the benefits more than the features. Let the buyer see why they need this product and how it will aid and improve their life. The wording plays a significant role on the ad. It basically brings your merchandise to life. Choose eye catching words such as: must have, dynamic, attractive, spectacular, great gift etc. These words are will catch the buyers attention. You must also remember that the ad is the first thing the buyer will see so it is up to you to make sure that the ad will arouse the interest of the buyer, now by during this you must be careful not to fabricate your ad. You do not want to mislead the buyer. The best way to avoid this is to be truthful and precise. The seller can usually tell if it sounds to good to be true.
Make sure that you proof read and check your ad properly for spelling and grammatical errors. Have someone else to spot check the ad, just in case you may have overlooked something.
After you have written the ad and have the wording the exact way you want it, make sure that you have placed your ad in the correct category. If your ad is not in the proper genre this could possibly kill the ad before it has a chance. An example of this would be if a buyer is looking for one item and they have looked in the correct category, but your item is listed in the wrong area and the buyer does not have time to look through the whole section you could have possibly lost a sale. It would be in the sellers best interest to make sure the ad is placed in the correct category.
Now that you ad is written and is placed in the correct place half of the battle is over. Just relax and wait for your phone to ring or to receive that email and close the deal.
