How to Write an End of the Year Paper
At the End of the Year Teachers Need to Know What Students Learned
Decide On The Title
Decide about what you want to write about. Make sure it is written in an interesting manner. You do not want to bore your teacher. Write about it on yellow legal pad. Make sure you have plenty of pencils and erasers.
Make Notes on the Paper
Write the most important points in the writing book. Do not trust your memory to recall the important things learned in school. Jot down whatever comes to mind. You can always cross it out or erase it when you write the final version.
Glance Through the Textbooks
Do not trust your memory. Think about the topic and what had been discussed in the classroom. Never write a term paper based on the book information alone. Add the lessons taught in class. Then think it all over. Make sure your paper is original.
Write
Sit at a desk or table where it is quiet. Use a pencil so you can erase and change sentences when needed. Write the data in order of happening, Do not skip or omit important information. You do not have to write a book. Just enough information for the teacher to see how much you learned.
Edit
Walk away when you are done writing. The next day glance over it again. Correct any errors. type it into the Computer. This is the final version of the paper. Check and re- check the spelling. Do not rely on the Spell Checker. Use the dictionary as well. Re-read it. If it needs editing or changing this is the time to do it.
The Following Day
Add references if needed. Read it once again. Make sure there are no typo errors. Hand it in when you are sure there are no grammatical, spelling or typing mistakes. Put it on the teachers desk. Wait for the grades.

Done it. Loved writing them.
Great ideas for getting organized. However, I'm pretty sure that these days, students over the age of 8 would be encouraged by teachers and parents to do all their writing on a computer.
Good tips for us writing articles too!
I never did these either. I do remember doing a paper at the beginning of the school year about what we did over the summer, but not at the end of the year.
Very good tips.
