The HP Compaq 6910p notebook is adequate built and also features some rubberize stuff in some potential areas. A procurer would use the rubber gripped latch when opening the notebook. Slamming the screen on the keyboard of the 6910p would be of no harm because a rubber protector is used to protect the edge of the screen.
The device is equipped with a dimension of 13 x 9.4 x 1.1 inch and has a weight of 5.2lbs.
The port found in the device is quite impressive and handy to a procurer. The rear side of the device features a Power jack, S-Video jack, VGA out, Kensington slot lock while the front aspect of the 6910p plays host to the Wireless light, power light, battery light, drive light / HP 3D DriveGuard light, integrated stereo speakers and many more. The right side of the Compaq 6910p reveals the USB 2.0 port, Optical Drive, RJ-45 Ethernet jack, RJ-11 / modem jack while the left side of the device is equipped with the Type I/II PC card slot, power connector, 2 USB 2.0 ports, stereo headphone / line out, stereo microphone / line in.
The device is equipped with a screen of 14.1 inch that has a resolution of 1280x800 pixels, which is quite handy and of a great benefit to a procurer. It is obvious that the horizontal viewing angle is quite better than the vertical viewing angle. An ambient light sensor is featured in the HP Compaq 6910p.
Performance and Benchmarks
The performance and functionality of a notebook is determined by the hard drive, memory and processor of the device. The HP company has really done well in this regard, because it is equipped with a better and adequate processor that would be suitable from a procurer that love to use his or her notebook to play high quality games and other graphical applications. The HP Compaq 6910p is equipped with a 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 processor, which is quite handy. But the fact is that the type of game the device would perform will be determined by the level of the quality. One would agree with me that the processor featured in device should be improved on. When compare with the HP Compaq 6510b that is equipped with a 2.20GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor that is quite superior to the HP Compaq 6910p notebook.
The keyboard featured in the device is quite standard and also very good for typing. The HP Company has introduced in the Dura-Keys, which is able to protect the letters on the keys of the keyboard from wearing out.
.
It is noted that the touchpad featured in the device has a rubberized buttons and adequate size. A procurer could scroll up and down web pages, email and many more with the area of the right side of the touchpad of the device.
A 6-cell battery supplies power to the device, which is equipped with a capacity of 55 WHr. When normal applications are in used the battery is able to stay up to 117 minutes. This is quite handy but could be improved if the screen brightness and other setting are adequate adjusted.
The wireless that is support by the HP 6910p is the Intel 802.11n capable. A procurer could use the HP Wireless Assistant software to regulate the activation and deactivation of the wireless. The wireless activation button is situated on the top of the keyboard of the HP Compaq 6910p notebook.
The HP Company has really done a good job in the HP Compaq 6910p notebook, because it is equipped with a lot of fascinating features that would blow the mind of every enthusiastic procurer around the globe.
