Windows Phone 7 is here and the HTC Trophy is one of its flagship phones. The HTC Trophy packs the powerful Windows Phone 7 operating system and if you've set your sights on this smartphone check out these pros and cons.
The Good:
The Windows Phone 7 operating system is perfect for mobile phones and boasts great features such as Windows Live Messenger, Zune, Netflix, and Xbox Live support, Windows Marketplace, Windows Live, Microsoft Office Mobile and other great features. As a Windows 7 Phone, the HTC Trophy will be able to take full advantage of all of WP7's features.
In addition to being able to enjoy all that Windows Phone 7 has to offer, the HTC Trophy also packs a 5 megapixel HD camera (with autofocus and LED flash) and supports up to 720p HD video recording. Regardless of if you're looking to take awesome still shots or HD video, you'll be covered with the HTC Trophy and its advanced camera.
The HTC Trophy is compact, fast, great when you're on the go, and can even replace your MP3 player while you're out and about. Overall the great features of the HTC Trophy Windows Phone 7 smartphone outweigh the bad '" but that doesn't mean that this phone doesn't have any flaws.
The Bad:
While the HTC Trophy smartphone has the great Windows Phone 7 features, is compact and quick, and packs an awesome video camera, it packs a few flaws that make this great phone not completely perfect.
Simply taking a look under the hood of the HTC Trophy will reveal several minor issues like its 1GHz single core processor and 576 MB of Ram (most modern phones have twice as much of each), but even with the paltry hardware, the HTC Trophy still manages to work well.
On average the HTC Trophy's battery offers 7 hours of talking time, but its battery life will significantly drop when running apps and when using its 5 megapixel camera. Sure talking for 7 hours is great, but if you're looking to take full advantage of the features supported with this WP7 smartphone, you'll have to bring your charger with you and stay near a socket.
Overal:
When comparing the pros and cons of the HTC Trophy, its great features truly outweighs the minor issues that it has and the HTC Trophy makes for a well-rounded Windows Phone 7 smartphone.
