The HTC Wildfire is a very slim smartphone that has tremendous capability yet is easy to learn and use. The international, unlocked, version with a one year warranty can be yours for $389.99 from Amazon.com and can be bought without warranty for $20 less. What makes this phone really unique is HTC's application sharing technology that allows you to use many of the common social media sites at once such as Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr along with receiving text and emails. If you need Wi-Fi then you are there and with Flash built into it's great working browser you are beyond being there.
No longer will you be embarrassed by forgetting your friend's birthday since it will be displayed from their social media site along with caller ID. You will stay informed using the HTC Wildfire FM Radio and News Flashes. If you get caught in the dark just use the built in flashlight, great for looking for the right key or if you drop your keys Using the digital compass you will always know what direction you are going and take great pictures of your friends and family with it's 5 mega-pixel camera. HTC's famous Sense Interface is a joy to use compared to other touch screens on the market.
I visited all the stores of the major carriers in my area and looked at the HTC phones they offered. It seems each carrier has different models they offer with Sprint offering only Androids. None of the sales personnel I talked to had heard of this new phone and it is just becoming available. Going by the information I gathered it will be soon offered by the AT&T network.
With over 70,000 apps available that runs on Android, this is a fun device for sure. These apps can be easily recommended to your friends with the ability to send them a link right to their phone. There are apps to use for social networking, a huge number of games, and many others, way to many to list with more being added everyday. A 3.2 inch screen with a resolution of 240x320 QVGA and weighing just over 4 ounces the HTC Wildfire gives you all the visual connection you need in such a device without being heavy in your hand. Did I mention it can be used to make phone calls too?
