3 Best Orlando Resort Spas for a Massage

Sabah Karimi

Whether you're traveling to Orlando to play at the theme parks or enjoy a few days at a resort, take a break and treat yourself to a relaxing massage at one of the resort spas in the area. Most of the larger resorts in Orlando have full-service spas on site, along with steam rooms, whirlpools, Jacuzzis, and saunas. These amenities are usually included with any spa treatment -- spend a few hours before or after your treatment to take full advantage of resort privileges.

These three Orlando resort spas offer some of the best massage treatments:

Mandara Spa at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando

This luxury spa is tucked inside the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and features an exotic menu of services inspired by Balinese techniques and European methods. The massages here are among the best in the city. Get the combination body polish with a massage to exfoliate and recondition the skin with one of the signature moisturizers. The add-on will make your massage experience that much more memorable and is a great skin-reviving treatment during any season.

Relache Spa at the Gaylord Palms

Relache is one of my favorite spas in Orlando because the facilities are so new and you can spend an entire day sitting by the pool, hit the steam room and sauna, and unwind in their spacious relaxation area. The massage services and body treatments here are perfect for de-stressing and pampering. If you want to sleep really well, book the 80-minute Aromatherapy Massage and request a lavender-based oil for your treatment. Another specialty treatment here is the hydro-therapy treatment which is great for detoxing.

Spa at the Omni Orlando Resort Championsgate

If you're battling fatigue and stress, don't miss the chance to try the Dragonfly Signature massage at the spa at the Omni Orlando Resort ChampionsGate. The service uses warm coconut oil instead of massage lotion and a hot towel treatment to reduce tension and relax tight muscles. You'll definitely want to book this treatment later in the day because it makes you very relaxed. Plan on staying at the resort for a few hours after your treatment to make the most of your experience.
