Subway is located at 1200 N. Woodland Ave. It's easy to find on a main thoroughfare. The parking is a little tight, but if you don't hit it right at the mealtime peak, you will have no problem. I like the fact that many of the items help you maintain healthy track of what you are eating. I especially like the six-inch Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki. I don't have to feel guilty for going out for lunch. This Subway is open 24/7. You can access their menu here.
Quiznos is located at 101 E. Plymouth Ave. It has a large, easy-access parking area. The restaurant itself is roomy with ample seating. My favorite item on the menu is the medium prime rib and peppercorn sub on whole wheat bread for $5.99. They also have soups and salads. They are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. On Sunday they are open from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. See if you like their menu choices here.
Firehouse Subs is located at 217 N. Woodland Blvd. This is right in downtown Deland, which is a nice place to stroll after you have eaten. Their public parking is easy access and has a three hour time limit. My personal favorite is the meatball sub, but my husband likes the 'fully involved' Hero sub. They have some killer hot sauces, too. The one called 'The Widow Maker' left an indelible impression on hubby's taste buds! They're open Monday through Thursday, 10:30 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. They're open an hour later, until 10:00 P.M. Friday and Saturday nights, and close earlier, at 8:00 P.M. on Sundays. You can check out their menu here.
