Coming into the spring of 2011, there are a number of people starting to think about warm weather activities, including outdoor grilling. For those who prefer to research a good choice in outdoor cooking, the best charcoal grills 2011 will likely be of some interest.

For this year, here are what appear to be the top selling charcoal grills (by consumer popularity):

Weber One Touch Kettle Charcoal Grill - This particular choice in charcoal grills is getting rave reviews - and quite a lot of them! It is the top selling charcoal grill so far this year, having a traditional "kettle" look and is available in both silver and gold versions. It has a number of characteristics that consumers appreciate including materials that resist rust and a super easy cleanup of ashes. Retail price for this grill is around $160.00.

Weber Smokey Joe Charcoal Grill - This is a more portable model from Weber, and is also getting excellent reviews overall. It (like the "One Touch") has a rounded kettle design, which is better in terms of smoking and cooking up flavorful food. The retail cost for this grill is around $35.00.

Weber Go Anywhere Charcoal Grill - Yes, another grill from Weber tops the list of the most popular charcoal grills for the year. This grill has a different shape than the two listed above, with a rectangular shape. While the "Smokey Joe" grill is portable, this one could be considered to be even more portable with legs that fold down to prop up the grill and then fold up when finished cooking to lock the lid in place. This is apparently an excellent grill to take camping, to the beach or tailgating. Retail price for this grill is around $50.00.

While there are others on the list of the best charcoal grills 2011 with the "Weber" name, there are also grills from Char-Griller, Meco and Big Steel Keg (an interesting and unique model). A note about Weber grills - If you have ever read reviews for practically any of the Weber grills - gas or charcoal - you will likely understand how they are getting such good reviews and why they are so popular - their quality is known to be far above other brands, lasting for years and years without a problem.
