So when I saw this beauty of a sunscreen at http://www.modells.com " I had to have it....I mean, it stands out in a crowd and accents my new navy "bear-mobile" of a mini-van quite well, and if you think about it, with the price of gas as high as it has been, you 'gotta grab your happiness vehicle-wise whenever you can!
Now I must admit, with a price tag that borders on $30, this can seem a bit on the pricey side but if you think about all the heat it is reflecting OUT of the vehicle and how deflecting that heat will cut down on how hard your AC has to work when you turn it on, I figure that it will have paid for itself by mid-September in gas alone! Wanting it in a hurry, I made the order and sat back, waiting for my bears beauty to arrive.
I must admit, not having ordered from this company before. I was a bit hesitant but in mere days, my sunscreen appeared on my step. Not only was it shipped in a great container, but it looked better in person than it did onsite, a plus for those who have thought " what the heck is this?" when opening a package from a new and different merchant.
Not only is it a nice looking item but another plus on this beauty is not just the shiny mylar coating, but it is relatively thick and extremely well made as well. It has well stitched seams and trim and when folded to store, it takes up virtually no space at all.
And for the best part of this beauty....at least from this fan, not only does it have 2 really nice screenprinted helmets, but it really accents my navy van! ....and it goes with my bobble head doll too....what more could you want!?! ;-)
Seriously folks, it looks great and it DOES keep the interior of my van a lot cooler than it was when I was toodling around "sans-windscreen".....and on top of that it makes it a lot easier to find my van in a crowded parking lot....there is just enough reflection off the windscreen to catch my eye and point me in the right direction when I forget where my van is parked. Now the real test will be during Christmas season when the mall is so full you have to park 2 counties away!
If you have a Bears fan in your house or simply are looking for a way to cut the glare in your vehicle, check out this beauty.....it's a winner in it's own league....and don't forget..."GO BEARS!"
