Huggies Overnites Really Stop Nighttime Leaking

To be honest with you I am not a huge fan of Huggies. I prefer to use Pampers Cruisers. But the problem is that Pampers do not make an overnite diaper. I was told you could go one size bigger for nighttime but I didn't find that to work very well. My son would still leak every night. It was getting so frustrating until a friend recommended I try Huggies Overnites. At first I was hesitant since I didn't have such a great experience with Huggies for my newborn. However, I figured it couldn't hurt to purchase a small package of the Huggies Overnites.

When I went to the store to purchase them I soon found out that they are only made in sizes 3 through 5. Luckily my son was already in a size 3 diaper so it worked out for us. I bought the diapers and tried them out that evening. To my surprise, the diapers actually worked. They kept my son from leaking and he stayed dry throughout the entire night. What a relief.

The Huggies Overnites are made with an "All-Nite Protection Zone with extra absorbency to help eliminate nighttime leaks. Unbeatable leakage protection gets better with added waist leak barriers." This feature is great. I wonder why all of the diaper companies don't jump on the band wagon and add this to their products.

My son stayed in the Huggies Overnites up until he grew out of them at size 5. I can't tell you how disappointed I am that they don't make up to size 7. I had to switch back to Pampers Cruisers for nighttime and we are back to having him leak again at night. He doesn't wake up from this but it must be so uncomfortable for him.

You could purchase Huggies Overnites from 1-800-DIAPERS for $23.99 for a pack of 62. You could also purchase them at Drugstore.com for $12.99 for a pack of 27. These are just some ideas of what you will spend for a pack of these wonderful diapers.

I highly recommend purchasing these diapers if you are having the same problem I did with leaking through the night. I do wonder how one would try to contact the people over at the Huggies company to find out why they stopped making them at size 5. My son happens to be a stocky guy for his age and is not ready to be potty trained. I guess they figured that by the size limit most children would already be using the potty.
