'OMG' reported that Hugh Grant at the age of 51, has just become a father of a beautiful baby girl. He should be applauded, even commended for waiting this long. With all prior issues and the many situations he's been caught in, its quite an accomplishment he has not had a few children already wandering about.
Anyone who has traveled along with him during the time from his beginning stardom and most recent celebrity accomplishments know he has most always been all about 'Hugh.' Even Hugh admits he loves himself. So, at an early age he was not ready to put the time or effort required into being the father children need and deserve.
We've seen the dwindle of children in this nation as they travel the road alone not having the love, direction, guidance and attention so desperately needed from both parents. Sometimes not having either. It's a sad situation when a child seemingly has to go it alone. Or struggles through his beginning without a true parent.
But at 51, perhaps Hugh has realized the many happy moments ahead in being a parent and guiding a child from the beginning life into a productive, contributing adult. Perhaps he is now ready to hold onto, cherish and love the gift of a baby. A gift that can only be given from God and should be cherished.
Even if not married, We should commend Hugh and encourage him to set an example for other fathers.

A happy accident. I don't think he waited or intended to become a father.
Nice news to read about today! Good for him! :)
Yes, all children are a gift from God! Thanks for sharing!
this is great that he waited so long
I hadn't heard this news - Good for Hugh :) Babies are a gift from God, cheers :)
I think 51 is just the right age for a man to have a child. They're all grown up by then.
Too many people have children before they're ready.
