Hulk Hogan: Pro Wrestler Recovering in Hospital from Back Spasms

Hogan Wishes He Could Use the Sleeper on His Back Pain

Technology is wonderful, and an incredible bonus to famous people who actually want to stay in touch with their fans. It is no surprise that , according to OnTheRedCarpet.com, recently hospitalized professional wrestler, Hulk Hogan, is sending videos from his hospital bed to show that he is better today than yesterday. He wants fans to see his progress, and know that he is continuing down the road of recovery. One video mentions that he would like a Miller Light, and goes on to remind fans twice that Hulk Hogan is immortal.

Back spasms sent Hogan by ambulance to Clearwater Hospital, reports Third Age. Back surgery earlier this year was successful, and this problem is unrelated. It takes relatively few pile drivers and body slams to create some havoc with the system. The doctors have prescribed some pain medication to help him relax, and ordered further tests, including an MRI, in an attempt to isolate the cause of the spasms.

Immortality is a great description, even if it's a tongue-in-cheek claim. This family has followed Hogan's wrestling career, from good guy to bad guy and back again, for years. When Hogan came to town, ticket purchase for the event was mandatory as soon as they opened the sales. A full house in record time was never a doubt, if Hogan's name was on the schedule.

Hogan is currently signed to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). His fame and identity were established with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), which later became known as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He appeared in several movies, including 'Thunder In Paradise' and 'Mr. Nanny.'

The Hulkster, whose actual name is Terry Gene Bollea, expresses his thanks to fans, particularly the many who have left messages on his Twitter page. He even learned how to block unwanted commentators, who had some mean stuff to say to him.

In case you haven't had the opportunity to see it yet, check out Hulk's video here.

I don't have Twitter, Hulk, but get well and stay healthy from some of your biggest West Coast fans.
