Hulk Hogan Puts His Bellaire Estate Up for Sale

Purchasing the house of any celebrity can be exciting and thrilling for almost anyone. Imagine being able to own the home of the "immortal" Hulk Hogan. This would be and probably is the dream of countless wrestling fans and Hulkamaniacs across the world.

Hulk Hogan is the individual who made professional wrestling what it is today. He has been in the wrestling business for nearly thirty years. He has wrestled for almost every major wrestling organization in the world such as the World Wrestling Federation, World Wrestling Entertainment, World Championship Wrestling, and the American Wrestling Association. He has had feuds with other wrestling legends such as Rowdy Roddy Piper, Andre The Giant, Bobby Heenan, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, and the Four Horsemen.

Wrestling fans all over the world now have the chance to fulfill their dream. Hulk Hogan, the professional wrestling superstar and legend has placed his Bellaire estate up for sale.

If you are a wrestling fan or a fan of VH1's reality show "Hogan Knows Best," you will undoubtedly recognize the house. This home was the original location where the VH1 reality show was filmed and gave wrestling fans a glimpse of what the legendary Hulk Hogan's, also known as Terry Bollea's, home life was like, along with his wife of over twenty years Linda and his two children, nineteen year old daughter Brooke and sixteen year old son Nick.

The Hogan family has since moved into a 12-million dollar home in Miami Beach, Florida. A move which was made to help his daughter Brooke an inspiring pop star promote her career.

An article in the St Petersburg Times Business section on June 21 2007 quoted the price for Hogan's 17,145 square foot mansion at 17.9 million. This price is far less than the original amount of 25 million that Hogan and his wife Linda were asking for the home before they took it off the market last year. The lack of interest in the estate is mostly likely a result of the declining real estate market in the Tampa Bay area.

Hogan and his wife first purchased the house in 1992 for only $2 million. The house is a two-story French country style home which overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway and has a boathouse, pool and waterfall, maid's quarters, four car garage, and guest house. The home is listed in the duPont Registry, which is a publication that focuses on luxury cars, boats, and, of course, homes.
