Hulk Hogan Wrestles Financial Problems; Wrestlemania Appearance a Possibility

Linda Hogan must be worried about her financial situation. After all, her soon to be ex-husband has been her meal ticket for years. Whatcha gonna do when Hulk Hogan runs out of money? At today's court hearing, Hulk Hogan (real name Terry Bollea) told a judge just that, Hulkster is running out of money and fast. That was not the cake topper though, what happened outside of the court brought even more drama to Hogan Knows Best Divorce Saga.

Hulk Hogan and Linda Hogan's divorce lawyer got into a heated argument outside of the courtroom, once the hearing was over. Linda's divorce attorney was heard on video accusing Hulk of hiding assets and alleging that Hogan patriarch is hiding money. Terry Bollea had plenty of his own words for the lawyer. The lawyer was even heard asking Hogan if he wanted to "wrestle" him. This guy must not have been a fan of Hulkamania growing up.

The sparring match outside of the courthouse was over financial agreements and trouble the couple has been facing, mainly Hulk Hogan's inability to pay mounting bills.

Terry Bollea asked the judge in court to unfreeze the couple's marital assets so that he could pay his, and his wife's bills. According to Hulk's own testimony in court today, the wrestling giant owes $312,686.35 in bills and fees. Hogan's current bank account balance is at $410,985.84. In December of 2008, Linda Hogan asked the judge to unfreeze $400,000 for attorney fees, and the motion was approved.

Hulk Hogan was granted $300,000 today, and the money will be used to pay his bills as well as some of his wife's expenses. Hulk also testified that he recently had back surgery, and has been unable to work for a living.

In court, his wife's divorced lawyer challenged The Hulkster, claiming that Hogan makes money off of being a celebrity and not a professional wrestler. However, Hogan had been teasing wrestling fans through his Twitter account, suggesting a possible return at this year's WrestleMania. His Twitter updates do however explain the possible challenges and recovery he faces from his back surgery, which may not allow him to be in shape in time for pro-wrestling's biggest night.

As Hulk Hogan is unable to go out and make a living doing what he has been famous for, he also claimed in court that the family will be out of money soon. Hogans' son, Nick Bollea, faced serious criminal charges in 2007 for an automobile accident that left his friend with serious brain injuries. As Hulk's son was a minor at the time, the family paid most of Nick's expensive legal fees. This has put a serious damper on family's finances.

Hulk Hogan has estimated his current fortune to be around $10 million dollars. In court today, he also warned the judge that if the family does not control their spending, that he will be broke in 13-14 months.

The Hogans, once a loving Reality TV couple and pro-wrestling royalty, were in a Clearwater courthouse today, as a part of their divorce hearing. In 2007, Linda Hogan (Bollea) filed for divorce after 23 years of marriage. What has turned into one of the ugliest celebrity divorces, Linda has not gained many fans. Particularly for the fact that Linda is receiving $40,000 a month from Hulk Hogan. Plus, all of her home expenses, home maintenance, lawyer fees and even credit card bills are being paid by her aging wrestler husband.

Linda has said to have a problem with her new monthly allowance, as it is not what she is accustomed to spending. Terry Bollea on the other hand is said to be responsible for all family's financial responsibilities, including taking care of his 90 year old mother.

Both sides have had disagreements when it comes to financial aspects, including ugly name calling in court and outside.
