639 skeletal muscles,
the exact number

of one to ten" they ask, "rate
your level of pain." Tough, Bones is,
lifetime spent painting himself
to a corner - taught through fear
to feel no pain.

The Human Body: one continuous nerve
running the body
branching a billion times
and more - still,
a single nerve.

"On a scale
of one to ten" they ask, "rate
your level of pain." A four

a handful of times in thirty-six years;
those days weak -
honest.

The Human Body: approximately
250 to 350 - no definitive answer,
what constitutes a joint
anyway?

"On a scale
of one to ten" they ask, "rate
your level of pain." Cracking,
burning, snapping, Bones knows
the number of bones,
knows the number joints, length
of the nerve, Bones knows
no good number now.

On a scale of one to ten...
