A great toast for these days would be "It is better to spend money like there is no tomorrow than to spend tonight like there's no money." I am so there!
"As you slide down the banisters of life, may the splinters never point the wrong way."
For the men, there is always "Here's to our wives and girlfriends...... may they never meet."
How about "In Heaven there is no beer, that's why we drink ours here."
A few more that could also serve just as well......
"May you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live."
"It is better to be drunk with bad company than drunk at home with loved ones."
"May your life, your love, your wine and your jokes be cheap."
"Dance as if no one is watching, sing as if no one is listening and live today as if it was your last, because I'll kill you if you don't stop singing and dancing."
"Love a Leprechaun, just don't steal them off your neighbor's lawn, those are Knomes."
"May the Irish hills caress you and cop a feel when no one is looking."
Here's some more humor:
Down at the pub, drinking all night, pray they don't run out of Guinness and give you Miller Lite.
There are many good reasons for drinking, one has just entered my head, if a man doesn't drink when he's living, how the hell can he drink when he's dead?
Here's a final suggestion to fill your St. Patrick's Day with good fun and good times. Take a trip to the market and grab a bottle of green food coloring and make sure to add a drop or two to everything you can. Even placing pretty glasses of green water around the house will add luck to your day. Maybe for dinner you might want to serve a green goddess dressing on your salad. How about some green mashed potatoes? Don't forget any light cocktail can be turned green with a drop of coloring. Mix up a batch of Margaritas (not Irish, but definitely green), Green Appletinis and of course, Beer.
Drink, drink and be merry this St. Patrick's Day. Just remember, don't drink and drive! Stay safe so you can enjoy the luck forthcoming.
