Living in Lyndhurst, Ohio gives one a plethora of choices for ordering dinner, especially when you get an insatiable craving for good pizza. Fortunately for locals there are lots of great choices, with Tasty's and Donato's located on the town's main road, and Master Pizza and a few of the larger chains delivering from Mayfield Heights.

The problem with all of these choices is that they essentially offer the same exact thing. Sure, the family owned businesses like Tasty's Pizza and Master Pizza have a very unique taste and ambiance to them, but if you want to order out it doesn't matter where you go - it's all just pizza.

I recently discovered a pizzeria in South Euclid, on the corner of Green and Mayfield, called Hungry Howie's Pizza. A lot of my close friends had been raving about this shops flavored crust gimmick, and I decided to give them a try. After trying the Garlic Herb, one of eight different flavors of crust, I was instantly hooked. With choices like Onion, Buttered Cheese, and Cajun, as well as a few different choices of sauce at no extra cost, Howie's little gimmick has become their greatest selling point.

If the unique taste weren't enough, this South Euclid pizzeria offers something that not all of the other local places can claim; outstanding service. Whether it's the friendly staff, the speedy delivery, or just the low prices, I've always felt that it was one of the few places where the staff really worked hard to earn their tips.

In addition to all this, their pies are some of the cheapest in town, with a large one topping pizza going for just a little over ten dollars. On top of the low cost they offer lots of promotions fairly often, discounting the food even more.

When all is said and done, Hungry Howie's Pizza has the best tasting pizza in town. Though you can't sit down with a few friends in the shop and enjoy a juicy pie like you can in Tasty's or Master Pizza, Howie's gimmick of flavored crust more than makes up for that insignificant shortcoming. If you're going to be ordering pizza and South Euclid isn't too far of a drive, I urge you to give Hungry Howie's Pizza a try. At the very worst it will taste like every other pizza, but I guarantee that it will taste better.
