but not a moment to soon
hold her closer
and the branch snaps off

only to have him
on that branch
she falls
complacently at mesmerizing
dark eyes
squinting her delicate eyes
she peers at a figure
and hides her face
the tree quakes
her hand placed
seeking only true lovers
walking on a limb
she smiles radiantly
no longer the hunter
but the redeemed...
