Hurricane Ike

Pure Writing
Hi, to all you fans out there this is an article of my experiences with Hurricane Ike. I myself never left for the hurricane, I actually stayed, and it was an awful experience in Southeast Texas. I would never stay again for another hurricane. Hurricane Ike was one of the worst hurricanes I ever experienced. The next day it happened it was sad, in Beaumont, Texas where I am from it was horrible. We had power lines knocked down for miles, the crew is busy trying to regain power around the clock, and there was alot of damage to homes, especially mobile homes. There was also alot trees knocked down, and as right now there is a curfew from 6AM to 8PM. I would reccomend people who evacuated to stay out of town until power and services are regained back to normal. All schools are closed, and there is talk of possible deaths, but numbers are not confirmed yet? As of today there is grocery stores back in service, especially Market Basket in Nederland, Texas. There has been cold ice provided, but that is it as of right now, some places provide food, but are limited. Alot of gas stations are getting back to normal, but not very many, because of the electricity. Well good day to you all, and if you have some questions you can email at: purewriting@hotmail.com I get the message instantly on my phone.

I honestly know what you are going through. I have been through several hurricanes and we never leave. The Tropical Storm Fay flooded us out, because it sat on Rockledge, Melbourne and Cocoa pouring down rain for days. And I have a lake in my own back yard. I ended up on an Island. But enough about me. I am glad that you are ok, and hope the best for you and your neighbors and friends. Stay safe, and focused.
