Could there be another hurricane disaster lurking around the corner? While many people are still recovering from the last hurricane season, they may need to take cover, a hurricane is possibly going to hit Bermuda.

We can not forget the damage that was caused by hurricane Katrina during the 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons. According to MSNBC, "Energy markets have paid close attention to storms in the Atlantic since the devastating 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons, during which a number of powerful hurricanes ripped through the Gulf of Mexico, toppling oil rigs and severing pipelines."

It is said that, on Thursday afternoon, just off of the coast of Cape Verde Islands found near Africa, hurricane Bertha started off of the coast of Africa as an ordinary tropical storm.

On it's travel toward the United States, the tropical storm had turned into a category 1 hurricane. According to MSNBC, on July 7th, "At 5 p.m. ET, the hurricane was 1,150 miles southeast of Bermuda in the Caribbean." Although, the U.S. National Hurricane Center is unsure as to whether or not hurricane Bertha strick the U.S., it is still being advised that Bermuda's residents follow and keep track of hurricane Bertha's movements. Hurricane Bertha is currently traveling at 12 miles per hour. Her highest wind was recorded at 115 miles per hour. It is said that what had started out as a category 1 hurricane, according to MSNBC, has now become a category 3 hurricane.
