Hurricane Warning

Kathryn Neff Perry
Hurricane Warning This time of year, especially, we in Florida pay close attention to the weather. I don't mean to say I'm obsessed with it, but I do listen and take heed.
I'm sometimes confused between "watch and warning", though.
I was thinking the other day how great it would be if we had the same type of Doppler warning in our lives. Well, maybe not. I'm not sure I want to know when the next hurricane is blowing through my life. Right at the moment, I'm between tornado's. Things are calm, right now.
As a child we aren't afraid of falling down the stairs. We've never fallen down the stairs. But in order to "grow and get stronger (and smarter)" at some point we need to "fall down the stairs."
For when I am weak, then I am strong. The Lord reminds me to lean on him during the storms in my life. No matter what's going on. I will never leave nor forsake you.

Exodus 19:4 You have seen what I did to the Egyptians and how I bore you on eagles wings and brought you to Myself.
No matter the size of the storm, there is always hope.
Genesis 9:13 I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

I can never remember the difference. I need to come up with my own way to remember.

Yeah, Doppler in our lives would likely save us much grief!

Another great job, Kathryn. A watch means conditions are favorable, a warning means it is very probable that you will be affected (for the area under the watch or warning)

Great job! You should consider writing a devotional and having it published! It would be great! :)
