HUT
Lifetime Friends
We sat at the kitchen table
Drinking coffee until noon
As we shared all our stories
I stared across the room.
We are here to rest
And love each other too
No wonder all your friends
Love to gather around you.
You lift us up and help us
In a way only you can do
You open up your heart
And your home is ours too.
As friends we share a bond
That only friends can do
A lifetime of memories
We know who'll see us through.
When times get rough
As they always seem to do
We gather at your house
We know you love us too.
We can't wait to be
Together once again
You are my friend forever, Hut
