Hyacinth Poem

Sandy James
Hyacinth blooms from bulbs;
You'll see them in the Spring;
A sweetly fragranced plant;
Colors of pink, white, and blue;
Intended to warm winter's wrath;
Never high maintenance;
They're very cheery and delightful;
Harbingers of not-so-far-away Spring.

    It's been snowing hard here today, so it is a real treat to read your poem and think briefly about the hyacinth and spring. Many thanks. rcj
