Most importantly, the room was fully set up for the modern business traveler. Each room comes with a flat panel plasma TV and connections on the side facing towards the desk that allow you to connect your PC into it. I have never seen this before, and it was wonderful. The free WiFi worked beautifully without any of the hiccups I have experienced with other hotels, allowing me to easily complete my work before turning in for the night.
The front area had a coffee maker on top a granite countertop that was both elegant and functional. Underneath this was a refrigerator, large enough to hold a restaurant doggy bag. To the side of this area was a large, comfortable couch with a center coffee table.
The bathroom had enough counter space, also granite, to hold all my toiletries. A small closet housed an iron and ironing board, and the iron was in perfect working order - also an anomaly for many hotels.
Although the hotel had no restaurant, you could order food made-to-order from your large TV easily, and the service was great. The breakfast in the morning consisted of cereals and very fresh fruit.
Also important, the beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were plump. I rested well here, and will go back to another Hyatt Place in the future.
The only negative experience I had was one missed wake-up call. I suggest using the alarm clock provided, or setting your iPod before you turn in.
