Hypocrisy in Seeking Boycott of Chick_fil_A

Neil Heater
I always seem to be writing lately on things in this society running amuk. However, each issue seems to lend ammo to its own notoriety and lunacy in the same breath. This time a gay rights outfit is calling for a national boycott of Chick-fil-A. This Christian, family owned restaurant chain apparently did a no-no by offering to cater a traditional minded marriage seminar in PA. This upcoming event is accursed by the gay rights crowd for only supporting one man, one woman based marriages. So when Chick-fil-A offered to provide sandwiches for the event, they became a target for the homosexual community.

Chick-fil-A makes no apologies for its stance as a Christian organization and has always advocated for the traditional marriage establishment. Guess what? They have the right to sponsor any event they want to and be left alone in their choice.

It's funny that when groups, such as the gay rights crowd, get their personal feelings hurt they go after the economical downfall of a corporation. This same group cries foul when they are singled out for attention by the populace, proves their inconsistency and immaturity by calling for the same thing on another group.

Chick-fil-A has a huge following and by calling for a boycott upon them is likely to have an opposite effect. There is a huge Christian and non-Christian contingent that likes what the company stands for and this should bring them a larger customer base.

Students at many college campuses have been calling for a removal of Chick-fil-A from campus grounds because of the companies beliefs and policies. "Open-minded" academics showcasing their intolerant acceptance for Chick_fil_A proves the very close-minded roots for anything they cannot accept. "Ben & Jerrys" Ice cream makes no bones about supporting many liberal causes, but no group is calling for Americans to stay away from their places of business. This just plays to the hypocrisy of the far-left in many venues.

Oh well, enough for now. I am off to get me a Chick_fil_a Chicken sandwich and wash it down with nice cold drink.
Who knows, maybe I will get me some Ben & Jerrys for dessert.

I read about this -- it makes me sick. But, Chick-fil-A will continue to be blessed as long as they keep honoring God by being closed on Sundays. On the other days of the week, all the Chick fil A's near me (and there's 4) are jam packed, especially at the indoor mall, while the other food outlets are forced to send employees out into the aisles holding out pieces of food to beg for business like some third-world market.

I think the American majority is just about tired of the idea we have to cater to the minority.I think *itch slap a few tell them no one really cares what you want, go home.I think it is time for the conservatists to stand up and say "no one cares".This nation was founded under the idea of god and it's beliefs. If you don't like that pack your *ucking bags and "GET OUT".You have that right.I guess all these Lib-tards think they should be heard. What you say means nothing to no one except other Lib-tards.Congrats to chik -fil-a stand your ground, you are right. We need more people to stand up and have some balls and do the same.

I was not aware of this at all - I agree with you wholeheartedly on the ridiculousness of this.
